The name ‘Riders of Shaam’ is to highlight the challenge of riding a bike for the purpose of raising money for the war-torn areas of ‘Shaam’.

Why do I cycle?
The Almighty has given me health and I take that blessing bestowed upon me to help save lives of others and change the lives of people across the world, in the hope of gaining Paradise In Shaa Allah, through their prayers. Why do I cycle?
To take a break from everyday life. To have a glimpse of the struggle of the less fortunate whilst climbing those disgusting hills. Of course it’s a perk being entertained by some singing along the way.

Why do I cycle?
If someone told me back in 2019 that I would be able to continue my passion for charity alonside something fitness related, I probably would’ve laughed it off. Here I am in 2022, three major long distance cycling trips under my belt, having raised phenomenal amounts of money for projects around the world. As short as my journey with RoS has been, the spiritual benefits gained are worth much more.
To sum up my reason for joining RoS in one sentence, to be part of a legacy that will never be forgotten. I can’t wait to be part of the growth and to continue providing aid to those less fortunate.

Why do I cycle?
To partake in charity work and help people in need around the world whilst using it as a means to motivate myself to become more healthier and get into cycling.

Why do I cycle?
For me, ROS helped to give me a purpose and direction. I was at a point where I wanted to improve my fitness and do something impactful, and that’s where RoS came in. RoS is more than cycling, it’s doing everything you do with the purpose to help those in need – and that is what motivates me. RoS has helped me to achieve things I never thought were possible, never in my life did I think I had the ability to complete a long-distance cycling trip, but I actually did complete one! All thanks to the RoS gang!

Why do I cycle?
To combine a hobby that developed during lockdown with a passion to help those who are less fortunate. Meeting some amazing brothers along the way has been a nice bonus
